You’re looking at the global map and you realize that you are just a small spot on it – something like a small ant in a huge valley, you feel that the world is immense. But in our days, thanks to human achievements, this little ant has the capacity and potential to reach even the farthest corner of the earth. Isn’t it a pity not to take advantage of it?
However, human nature and our insecurities are making us full of fears and second thoughts, which are holding us away from booking a flight to wherever or to plan a trip and in that way we become dilatory.
By researching, the basic human’s thoughts-fears, which keep us away from organizing a trip, are the following:
1- No money, no honey!
It is a myth that only those who have a lot of money can travel. The only thing that you need is monthly savings (20 euros) and a well-made plan several months before the trip. This does not mean that there are not expensive destinations. However, there are places, which can be easily approached, spending the same amount as staying a weekend at home. An example from my personal experience: a two day trip to Rome – 90 euros all included. An unforgettable experience!

2- There is no time!
There are some weekends per year that we stay home and doing nothing, feeling tired from the hard week that just passed! These weekends are just a few for the busy ones and multiple for others, but there are definitely some in any case. And what if you could plan these weekends even from the beginning of the year? You think: “ A weekend has only 48 hours, what can I do in such a little time? “ But, wouldn’t it be great to pass these 48 hours under the “Big Ben” in London or in a gondola in Italy? It is better to have a small taste rather than nothing at all.
It’s better to say: “I was living in Florence for two hours”, rather than “ I was watching TV for two hours”. Even the idea of it, is really promising!

3- The fear of the unknown!
Indeed, for a beginner, maybe the idea of : “I don’t know what’s going to be there”, is a bit scary. Because, it’s true that we are not all born to be explorers, who are attracted by the idea of the unknown. But, what if you knew from the beginning everything about the place you are going to visit or you knew the area on the map better than the one that you live in? What if there were an exact plan and a timetable about what you can do, where you are going to find it, how you are going to do it- generally, if you had a very clear picture of how the place that you are going to visit is. So, what if the only thing that remains is to just go there and see for yourself? It sounds difficult, but it’s not! You just need to follow the instructions and the advice from people who have already taken these steps before you and be ready to learn from their experience.
So, since your first fears have started fading away, you should better start looking for your next destination and we will find together the way to achieve it!
If you want to travel, there is always a way!
